Deadline Extended
The deadline for
abstracts has been extended until 15 November. Authors now submitting abstracts
will be informed as soon as possible about reviewer feedback, however, the full
paper abstract remains 30 November 2008.
Abstract Information
Abstracts are invited in the main topic
areas of the conference, for consideration by the Programme Committee. A full
list of conference topics can be found here. Abstracts must be in English and
include:
Abstracts will be evaluated on the basis
of the clarity of the objectives, the method used and the significance of the
results. An abstract template can be found here. Abstracts should
be no longer than 400 words.
In submitting an abstract the authors may
indicate their preferred mode of presentation - either oral or poster - but they
agree to the decision of the Paper Committee on this
matter. Authors will be notified at the time of acceptance of the abstract.
Abstracts are to be submitted via email
exclusively to solarfood@ises.org by 30
September 2008. Abstracts will be published in hard copy, and full papers will
be published in CD-ROM form. These will be available for delegates at the
conference.
Authors will be notified by 30 October
2008 about the submission of full papers and posters. Full papers must be
submitted for all presentations (oral and posters) by 30 November 2008. This
should be done by email, according to the instructions and templates later to
be available on www.solarfood2009.org.
By submitting an abstract, the authors
understand that, if selected, one or more of the authors will personally
present the paper or poster at the Conference and thus such authors are liable
to pay the Conference registration fee. Submission of an abstract for review is
considered as an agreement that the work will not be published or presented
elsewhere prior to the conference. With the submission of an abstract, and
paper or poster, the authors verify that the material is original with the
author or the author has permission to use it. Authors authorize ISES to
duplicate the works for distribution during and after the conference.
Posters should not exceed 640 mm width, 900 mm length (DINA1). Poster place assignment will be
distributed before the Conference. Authors are responsible for printing and displaying their
posters before their presentation.
