How to Register
Registration must be done online at the Solar
Food Conference 2009 website www.solarfood2009.org.
Please
read through the registration information below, before completing the online
registration form.

The
registration fee includes entry to all sessions, the exhibition hall and poster
areas, the opening session, welcome reception and the closing session.
Non-ISES Members:
Delegates
can choose to purchase ISES membership upon registration. The member price will
be guaranteed and the invoice will also include regular ISES membership for one
year.
Students:
To
qualify for the student fee, students must present proof of full- time enrolment
at a recognized university or college at both the time of registration and
during the congress. ISES Student Members will receive one night of
accommodation free at the conference venue, the Barli
Institute. Please email solarfood2009@ises.org if you are interested in this offer.
Indian Delegates:
Indian
delegates are entitled to pay the registration fee in Indian Rupees on-site. If
an Indian delegate wishes to pay for registration in advance the registration
price must be the equivalent in Euro. See payment options below for more
information.
Registration Terms and Conditions
1.
Following completion of the registration form and
receipt of payment, participants will be officially registered and a letter of
confirmation will be issued 14 days after receipt of full payment. Full payment
is required within 7 days from receipt of invoice. A receipt will be issued on
payment.
2.
All cancellations must be done in writing to the
International Solar Energy Society (ISES) at solarfood2009@ises.org.
3.
Cancellations received before 31 September 2008 will
incur a 10% cancellation fee to cover administration costs.
4.
Cancellations received between 1 October 2009 and 1 January
2009 will incur a 50% cancellation fee i.e. 50% of the total value of the
registration fee.
5.
No refunds will be made for cancellations received
after 1 January 2009.
6.
All or any refunds will only be processed after the Conference.
7.
Substitutions are welcome provided details are
submitted in writing before 1 December 2009.
8.
Substitutions after 1 December 2008 will be charged a
10% administration fee of the total registration fee.
Payment Options
Bank transfer
Once the
Congress Secretariat has received your registration, an invoice will be issued.
The invoice amount should be transferred directly into the ISES account in
Euro. All transfer costs and bank charges will be for the account of the payee.
The banking details of the ISES account will be displayed on the invoice. ISES
may request proof of payment to enable us to reconcile deposits on our bank
statement.
Credit Card
If you
have opted to pay by credit card, please fax the invoice sent to you via email
to confirm your registration and your credit card details to this number
+49-761-45906-99. Please include your credit card number, expiry date, full
name on card and CVV code (on the back of the card) on the fax.
On-site payment
Only
delegates from Indian are permitted to pay the registration fee on site. The
completed registration form and invoice (sent via email upon completion of
registration) should be presented at the registration desk.
Disclaimer
In the
event that any services become unavailable for any reason ISES and other
sub-contractors will make every effort to supply alternatives of equal standard
and value but no responsibility can be accepted for failure to provide the
specific services.
ISES and
its appointed agents or either subcontractors, act on the basis that they
attend to the arrangements of the Solar Food Conference 2009 for the
convenience of the participants. They perform all tasks on condition that ISES,
its appointed agents or subcontractors, cannot be held responsible for any
loss, damage or inconvenience (however arising) experienced by the delegates of
the Solar Food Conference 2009.
Cancellation of the Congress
In the
event that the Solar Food Conference 2009 cannot be held or is postponed due to
events beyond the control of the ISES and its appointed agents or
subcontractors (force majeure) or due to events which
are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of ISES, it cannot
be held liable by delegates for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as
transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, etc. Under these
circumstances, ISES reserves the right to either retain the entire registration
fee and to use it for a future conference, or to reimburse the delegate after
deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the conference and
which could not be recovered from third parties.
